The Black Claw

In the beginning The Black Claw was a division of The White Hand, working as the muscle of that organization.  Though The Black Claw supported the goals of The White Hand it was the method to reach those goals that The Black Hand was in opposition with.  The Black Hand felt that a more aggressive and violent method was needed to achieve the goals while The White Hand looked to achieve their goals through manipulation and politics.  From this fundamental disagreement The Black Claw elected to separate themselves from The White Hand and to strike out on their own.
Once separated from The White Hand the goals and methods of The Black Claw slowly began to deteriorate from their original political roots.  Currently The Black Hand has no political aspirations within their home nation of Alivara, or any other nation in all of Falandas.  Those that agreed with the methods of The Black Claw were not plentiful and as such the organization is not of a significant size.  Due to this The Black Claw now sells their services as assassins to any that needed them.

Structure

The Black Claw is led by a counsel of three whom decided on what missions to accept and which members to send on those missions.  The counsel is comprised of specialists in melee, stealth, and magic so as to ensure that a balanced outlook on each mission that is presented to The Black Claw.  Within the ranks of The Black Claw officers lead small sects of the group and delineate the orders given to them from the counsel that leads the organization.  These officers act as management in that they ensure the team knows their task and how it is expected that they accomplish that mission.

Public Agenda

It has been several years since The Black Claw operated with a specific agenda to their operations.  In the modern world members of The Black Claw are highly trained assassins and special operatives.  These individuals are hired by those with their own specific agenda to accomplish a task that would be considered impossible for a standard soldier to accomplish.  It is not unheard of for The Black Claw to be hired both to assassinate a target as well as to rescue another.

COAT OF ARMS:

The Black Claw uses a styalized black dragons claw as their organizations symbol. This symbol is frequently seen stamped onto the forehead of a victim of The Black Claw.
