Personal history
When Umbra first created the Universe and the planet diamond. Trunk was the tree Umbra sat next to afterwards. Trunk was there when Umbra met his true first(second) love and when Umbra built his First house.
trunk has always been there. Then one day Umbra had a thought. he had created everything but he needed someone to be there with him if he ever decided to get rid of it all and someone who knows about the truth of everything.
so Umbra went to the first Tree he encountered and turned it into a person.
Umbra made this person into his familiar and named him Trunk. Trunk knows everything about Umbra and vice versa.
Umbra can speak truthfully to trunk because trunk knows as much as he Does and even though he does not show it trunk is the second most powerful person in the universe even being able to convince Umbra to do certin things.
