The Blood War
Military: War
With the increase of population and deforestation, came the Blood War. As Goblins were seen as uncivilized and unintelligent, they were driven from their homes in favor of further development of the land. This happened to be a huge mistake as the Goblins had learned a lot from spying on the newcomers, including the creations of weapons and armour.

The First Signs
At first nobody knew that there was something wrong, until they stopped hearing from the various homesteads that dotted the land. The Goblins had managed to remain undetected for years, preparing for war in the shadows. When the families would go to sleep, they invaded their homes, killed everyone in their sleep and burned the buildings to the ground. When there were no more homesteads left, the Goblins stepped up their game...
The Fall of Lunaris
As Lunaris was seen as the capitol by most, it was also seen as the seat of power by the Goblins. With their armoured forces, including armoured forest dwellers (like bears, wolves and many more) they laid siege to the Lunaris. The city nor its inhabitant ever stood a chance.
The Tipping Point
With the destruction of Lunaris fresh in the mind's of the civilized world, the resaerch and eventual construction of airships was sped up. These flying transports, were outfitted with weapons of war the Goblins had never witnessed before and would never again.
Three years later, with the near-extinction of the Goblin race, the war was declared over (although ti was very one-sided so) and the airships were refitted for the next generation of Planeswalkers.
