And this despite the gifts of modern armor and weapons. Drubov is desperate to get this outpost to sign on the dotted line as a member of the UPP before the PCs arrive. If he and his squad of five troopers and one Davydovich android have to investigate the pyramid as Zhāngjié’s price, then so be it. If not, Drubov is not above a palace coup, killing the warlord and replacing him with his second in command, Wŏ.
