Eladrin

At the end of the Creation War, the mortal races began to appear on Fulcrum and there was a brief period where the fey and the elves coexisted. When the fey were ready to depart to the Feywild, a contingent of elves requested to go with them, and their request was granted. Some of these elves settled in the seductive night of the Shadowfell and became the Shadar-kai, while some went to various Domains of Delight and became the eladrin.

The feywild is a place of wild emotion and wilder magic, and the eladrin became infused with both. While still elves, they shift mood and personalities like Fulcrum changes seasons, and sometimes far more often. While most stayed close to the Domains of Delight and the archfey they often serve, some make their way to other planes, including the Material Plane.
