Gnome

Gnomes are a very gregarious species, to the point where the phrase "solitary gnome" would be seen as an oxymoron. If you see one gnome, their family, friends, acquaintences, and contemporaries will almost certainly not be far away. They also tend to be found with other gnomes. Not, as any gnome would tell you, because of any supposed xenophobic tendencies of gnome society, but simply because compared to gnomes, other races are terminally introverted.
Whatever the reason, while gnome communities can be found in most major cities of the Nineward Coalition or Empire of Fangs, most gnomes live in the peninsula known as The Walled Reach. Their natural tinkering and building proclivities have led them to continually improve the wall that gives the land its name, and they have created a close bond with both the dwarves that sail the Inner Sea in their stoneships and the Warforged that they find in the various ruins of the Reach and try (with limited success) to activate.
