General Summary
The party followed Fenthick's backtrail and drove off the kruthiks that attacked them with little difficulty. After a tentative search of the tunnels and getting his notes, the PCs moved on to Bad Aching, leveling up to 3. They spoke to the B.A.S.P.C.D. and got the scoop on Fenthick's mission, whereupon Tatyi searched his room, found the cipher and decoded his notes.
