Tiefling

Sometimes, for whatever reason, a little bit of influence leaks out of the Abyss or the Nine Hells and affects the mortal world directly. The energy from the Abyss tends to warp reality in bizarre and unpredictable ways, but the touch of the Hells tends to ground itself in those yet to be born, creating tieflings.

Also called the Ninetouched, most humans accept that they are just trying to live their lives like everyone else, but suspicion still lingers, making the life of a typical tiefling just that little bit harder. Accordingly, tieflings have a tendency to want to fly under the radar and go with the flow, which actually creates an odd kinship with their celestial counterparts the aasimar, who have similar tendencies.
