Orbylith

The Orbyliths are a race of beings from beyond time and space, they're existence predates Gods and the known universe itself. Their power far exceeds most Gods, and becuase of this if a sphere ever develops a prevalent Orbylith problem, they will choose to simply abandon the sphere. They are beings who prefer the nothingness that was present before existence was started, and this is what they prefer. Existence as a concept drives most Orbyliths into a rage. They seek to destroy all of existence one bit at a time.

Anatomy

They vary greatly in form and make, but most are wreathed in a black mist that absorb light and tends to cause anxiety in living creatures

Biological Traits

Most Orbyliths are incapable of using magic to alter the world in any way and seem to just bend reality to their will instead. However this does give them their one weakness, magical seals and traps prove rather effective against them.

Genetics and Reproduction

As far as its known, Orbyliths are completely incapable of reproduction, and are instead 'born' when enough 'negative thoughts' coalesce, creating a rift that allows there existence, whoever this is usually only possible during worldwide disasters as the intense suffering and ill thoughts of millions are not even usually enough to give rise to even a single Orbylith

Growth Rate & Stages

When they are 'born' most Orbyliths will go through a short period of growth and development as they adjust to existence, this process can last anywhere from hours to years

They're intelligence varies widely, some will have no more than an animalistic need to destroy while others will spend eons planning and scheming

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Orbyliths experience time differently from most races, a direct product of them existing before existence itself, giving most Orbyliths an uncanny ability to know things about people who they meet usually seeming to have known them for eons Most will use this unique perception of time to cause chaos, drama, or to torment specific people for their own amusement

Many Orybliths will choose to go by simple human names or titles rather than use there true names, which are typically much longer than most names
