The Triar of Sébar

The Triar of Sébar was the conference that lay the foundation for the unification of the three ancient kingdoms Eabar, Dal'mar and Dal'rim into The Kingdom of Eandal. While the unification was supposed to be a means to an end in the fight against the dragons of the recently emerged Don'vur, it turned out to be the beginning of the long reign of the Eandalian Kingdom.

History

While the world was still shaken by the sudden emergence of Don’vur and the appearance of dragons, drakni’s and other new being in the world, the rulers of three befriended kingdoms close to the new continent decided to unify their countries in an attempt to fight off the threats that entered their world. The meeting was held in secret in the city of Sébar on the initial request of King Astes Vonderdijk of the Kindom of Dal’rim. He, King Tylrond Moena and Queen Laia Guiverra decided to unify their countries and bundle their military strength to face the threats from the new continent. Thus the Alliance of Eandal was born. The three rulers and their successors were supposed to rule as equals under the new title of Praeter.   The unification was a grand success. The combined military power easily controlled and subjugated the monstrous forces. In 5 RC., the Republic of Agrain, which was terribly pestered by the new enemies, decided to join the Alliance in an attempt to bring safety back to their lands. King Astes became a hero of the people thanks to his successes on the battlefield against the monsters, while King Tylrond and Queen Laia were tasked with the organization of the unified countries.   The Kingdom Dornham also joined the Alliance a few years later. With the Alliance growing, it was clear that a ruling as equals was not possible anymore. As a result Astes Vonderdijk, King of Dal’rim declared himself King of the new Kingdom of Eandal, much to the dismay of the other nobles of the Alliance, including Tylrond and Laia.   King Astes offered the ruling nobles to keep the title of Praeter, while serving under him as King. All except Laia Guiverra reluctantly agreed, knowing very well how great King Astes’ strenght was, both in military and with the people. As a result, Tylrond, the King of Agrain and the Queen of Dornham declared their loyalty to the new King and the new Kingdom. This is seen as the founding of the The Kingdom of Eandal in 6 RC.
