Queen Valeria Mistwood
Valeria Mistwood, born in 3A 58, was taught the history of her people her mother Arawynn Mistwood; the Last Moon Elf. She took over as queen of the city-state Calen when her mother died of natural causes in 3A 128. Born an Avariel, her birth was considered a great blessing from Selune herself, and both Arawynn and Valeria remained worshippers of the goddess their entire lives.
Valeria, like her mother, was a beloved ruler, even amongst the freedom-loving wood elves, and her reign brought prosperity and peace to the forests of Calen.
In 3A 258 Valeria bore a son by a wood elven father. He too was born Avariel, and despite the great joy her only child brought her, she hid him from the world outside her royal palace to protect him from her enemies that might seek to hurt her by hurting him.
In 3A 314 Valeria Mistwood became involved with Feynaril, a sun elf and host of the goddess Shar, and she started working towards a plan to restore the moon elven people in secret. Her son Vedaan too became involved with Shar, becoming a religious leader for wood elves and drow alike that shared his and his mother's vision of a brighter future with the goddess Selune restored. During this time Valeria continued her reign over Calen till her death in 3A 315 by the Spider Queen; Lolth Myrahel.
