Protectorate of Pated
Structure
Pated is a Plutocratic Republic where the ability to vote on laws and to run for positions of power within the governmnet must first be purchased on a vote by vote basis. The duty on voting eligibility are of an exhorbidant sum and the system is set up in a manner to ensure that only those with massive amounts of wealth can didctate how the nation is ran on a military, economic and domestion level. The reasoning for this form of Wealth Voting is the idea that those who own assets, property, and invest in the nation have a high stake in the Protectorate and as such are more likely to make policy decisions that are in the best interest of the country; as opposed to the common and less wealthy population, who having to work and focus on thier own day to day needs are more likely to vote in thier own selfish interests.
Culture
Patedians place great value on what they refer to as "The Three Tenets of Prosperity": Wealth, Power and Status. They believe that those who have these three tenets have proven that the Divine favors them and that are justified in the means that they used to obtain it. Wealth, grants stability and comfort and eases the trials of life. Power grants safety and influence, it allows one to change their situation. And Status grants respect and admiration, it creates legacy. These pillars drive the mindset and actions of the people. As such the Patedians are unapologetically materialistic, selfish and, arrogant. Patedians always see situations as means to an end and pay little attention to the sentimental, but display much love and care for their possessions. This way of thinking and acting is shared among all of the social classes within the Protectorate, with even the poorest and marginalized groups displaying such behavior. It is often said in Pated " That if you're starving or have no place to sleep then it's your own damn issue, not mine".
Military
The protectorate of Pated Has a very small military. It is a client state to the Human Federation and thus relies upon the federation for its protection. The Human Federation has stationed an approximated 27,000 security forces stationed as protection for its borders, with volunteers from other nations to supplement the number to around 35,000 in total. These 5,000 Al' Baran Foreign Legionaries, 1,000 Divinian Peacekeepers, 500 Hybrillian intellegencia, 500 Souzorailian battlemages and 1,000 Vastadan mercenaries.
The protectorate itself has only a 10,000 strong military, which in acting force only serves in the protection of its wealthy citizens and their assets. These individuals are purposefully sourced from the middle class as to prevent the poorest in society from having any social mobility from their tenure of service.
Foreign Relations
In both Historical and contemporary context The protectorate of Pated has always been a nation that has relied upon Powerful nations for it's protection and prosperity. It provides barely anything to the international community, yet requests and demands favors and privileges that only benefit the Protectorate. This frustrates The leaders of other nations, whose dealing with the nation often come at unreasonable premium. Its only real influence comes from the multitude of supremely wealthy individuals that bankroll many of the worlds institutions.
Vastadian Aggression
The relationship between the Kingdom of Vastada and the Protectorate for centuries has been sour. The clans and Tribes of Vastadii have throughout history have made several attempts of the Patedian lands only to be pushed back by another nation who the protectorate had managed to receive protection from, never having to actually fight against them. This has resulted in the Kingdom viewing the nation as craven, underhanded and manipulative. The Vastadian people believe that a nation without a capacity to contribute to its own defense cannot legitimately be called a nation and if a region should be dependent on the protection of another nation, it is better off being absorbed into that nation. Vastada was amongst the only nation that voted against Pated being allowed into the Human Federation and even to this day is antagonistic towards the protectorates officials and proposals.
Ntunzian Condescension
The Protectorate was once a nation that heavily imported and exported slaves as a central industry of the nation. It's elites were stout supporters of the concept and even pushed back against the Common Prosperity: Anti-Slave Act that eventually banned the institution in all Federation member states. Prior to this act Pated would constantly make raids into other nations for fresh new slaves to sell, particularly of the tribes of Warencia a monster nation and the Human nation of Ntunzia. Ntunzia was hit the hardest by Pated's slave trade and was never able to fully fight back against the nation due their protectorate status. As such the nation continued to suffer at the hands of slavers that almost tore the nation apart. Even after the destruction of their former protector; The Crowdom of Saul, Ntunzia was never able to reign justice on the nation as they quickly found a newer nation to guard them. This has resulted in Ntunzia being actively hostile against the Protectorate and distrustful of the Human Federation who is their current protector. This National hatred for Pated is so strong that the nation would form an alliance with the Monster nation of Warencia rather than join the Human Federation as a member alongside the protectorate.

Education is the privilege of the rich in the protectorate of Pated. There is not universal system for education in the protectorate and its plutocrats are well intended to keep things as such. The overall quality of the education that can be obtained for those who can afford it is above average at least, but the price of an education is so artificially inflated so that many would consider sending their children to institutions that are more difficult to be accepted into but cost leagues less than them attending in the nation. In fact The cost of the an average Protectorate Education costs more than what it would take to pay your way into the Blue Palace Academia; a world renowned institution that produces the very elites that drive the world innovations and progress.

The nation produces luxuries such as fine jewelry, yachts, garments and the like which are sought after by many of the worlds elite and are sold at an astronomical premium. Despite the materials to make the goods being mostly imported, the mere mention of Patedian made luxuries start the prices in the thousands. Though the sell of luxury goods bring in a astonishing amount of revenue into the nation, this revenue only accounts for around a quarter of its exports. It biggest export that it provides to the world is its financial services. Pated has the largest most powerful financial sector in the world, its banking institutions are the most prominent in the world which it uses to finance undertakings in other nations through loans and finance managers. An egregious 56% of all loans given within human nations are from Patedian owned institutions, with another 17% being managed by Patedian Financial advisors. In addition to this Pated is the cornerstone on international banking with the Patedian Currency being the most commonly used currency among human nations. To the disgruntling of the other nation, The Protectorate of Pated also provides banking and financing to monster nations claiming and dominating 29% of the financial sector of monster nation.

The Protectorate of Pated has always been a nation relying on the support of other nations for its survivability. This way of life also refers to the things that it imports. The elites of Pated import everything from food, to stone, form literature to weapons. Without these imports the nation would starve, manufacturing would halt and its upkeep would fall by the waist side. Unfortunately for the people lower class citizens of Pated, The nation actually has the means to produce its of goods and to be a self sufficient nation, however the ruling elite has prioritized the production of luxury goods and the service sector that they themselves have the funds to enjoy. By these means not only do the lower classes become solely dependent upon the charity of the elite for daily survival, they also lack the job stability need to rise from destitute poverty.
