Kaitain
Kaitain is a small Chanxji city that is usually the call of port to the adventurers and travelers to the land of Tausoomi. Being a port city it is the seat of any major international shipments from the other continents on Gaia.
Demographics
The City is rather wholesome. Middle class populations are the majority of the populations, and there are some of the Nobel houses here, but most of them seclude themselves away from the hustle and bustle of the city square.
Government
The Town is led by a mayor who answers to the Royal Treasurer. They city is based on laws and customs of Tausoomi, following the Capital's example.
Defences
Kaitain is situated on a coast, that has mountains to its back. the valley in which it calls home is hard to access through the mountains. The city is walled, like all others, with great towers in each of the corners of the city. Watch towers also dot the country side, where the manors are set up at.
Infrastructure
Being the city of port for most of the traffic, Kaitain usually tries to deliver a tourism feel. Hotels, Warm beaches, cozy sunsets. Travelers usually shop and sleep here before going out to adventure within the continent.
Guilds and Factions
The Advenuterer Guild of Tausoomi calls this place home. Part of the network of Adventurer guilds that dot the world of Gaia, this one serves Tausoomi and its surrounding lands. Adventurers usually head here to boast, drink, and get jobs that will earn the favor of the Tausoomi Government.
Architecture
The city faces South. The sun usually sets and rises across the bay. It is said at night, the moons of Gaia are brightly lit and reflect upon the Way of Tranquility. Home to a navy base and severa marinas, Water traffic is elevated upon this city. There are no towers, no high rises, the buildings go about two to three stories at most.
At Night, the city's streets are lit up by lanterns that illuminate the Palm trees that line the streets.
Geography
Nestled on the coast between the Tails of the Dragon's last two ranges. The City shares a topical setting, that further west, starts to turn more wet and temperate.
