Maas'ii The Ancient (Ma-az-zee)

Maas'ii The ancient is an Ancient Western Ice Dragon, that is said to be one of the First Broods, and that of a God in Gaia's folklore. She is depicted by many cults of Ice and Storms as their patron Deity. She resides in the Maasii Sea and on a large semi-continental island of her own known as The Island of Maasii. It is said that she has weaponized the Ley lines around these islands to create the Eternal Storm to protect her realm from unwanted visitors and in doing so, had created the Voices of Planet.
Maas'ii appears through out the worlds;' history several times by people of ancient origin, it is even said that Maas'ii was around during the Combined Empire's Era, perhaps only as a hatchling then.

"Your before the storms incarnate, You will respect and treat them as any god, should you ever be graced with her appearance before you. Do not upset them." ~Initiate of Storms.

Maas'ii has contacted the races of Gaia before in rare times. She is known to spring into action should the world of Gaia it self become in danger. Due to this, She is often and foolishly compared to the Charismatic, yet equally enigmatic Wooshu of Nature. Even though she shares the status of an Ancient Dragon, and considered a god by the lesser races of Gaia, like Wooshu, she does not have the same values or aspirations as the Lord of Nature does.

Interactions With Wooshu

Wooshu is another ancient dragon, however they are an Imperial Dragon. It isa said the two had an on and off again relationship that bore no eggs, but they have been known to clash, maybe as a form to test each others' mettle. A friendly Rivalry exists between the two Ancient Dragons, and most information about Maas'ii is learned through Wooshu's Lore Stones, found through-out Changxi.
Wooshu considers Maas'ii an equal, and with that they are part of the Dragon Pantheon as living gods.  Wooshu is known to swoon over How 'pretty the Ice is'.

Godhood

Not many dragons are known to be Ancients. Those that do, usually remain silent or to themselves, however certain dragons do make their presence known.  Maas'ii's Ascension to Godhood was through lore and tales of yonder by the people of Gaia and her influences when she is not at her lair in Corpal. The Mythical Terixy Draconis has been invovled with her history, and that usually means they are to a point where they have power that can perhaps change the world should they wish it.

Personaility

Wooshu's Lorestones depict her as a laid back yet very protective mother. She cares for her fellow dragons in her flight and her kin, like a mother would their children. However she is wrathful should she become enraged. The Eternal Storm is said to be her doing, as she is on top of her impressive power, also an Ice Sorcerer. This has made her a target for either stupidly-ambitious storm mages to seek her out as a master. It is unknown how many if a ny did manage to speak to her as a mage.
