Northern Dragon
A northern dragon is a unique mix of a mammal and reptilian dragon. They are usually seen in colder climates with a mass of fur and feathers over the traditional scales and batwings. These fur coats they bare also can have markings that make them prized pelts to go after by any aspiring hunter.
They of course resemble mammals more than reptiles, but deep down inside they are synapsids. A reptile-with fur and mammalian like features.

History
The first recorded northern dragon was in Maelstrom within the peaks of Mythia. these dragons enjoy living in high or cold places. This specific dragon never bothered the Mythian Empire much, but one day, the found the dragon had simply disappeared, leaving more mystery about the race. They were at first considered to be their own species, but there were too many similarities between dragons and them, even dragons call them equals. Though some of the younger dragons don't even know of the Northern Dragon's existence. The second dragon sighting was Mymmier, a Dragon that was found ironically around Southpoint in Icia. This dragon was more approachable, as it regularly challenged ician hunters to hide and seek games, and tests of strength. Leading to the theory that these dragons are the 'warrior' dragons that love the thrill of fighting, and challenging. From the Ician reports, it is safe to speculate that these dragons are indeed the most aggressive, however they respect strength and power. One thing that was observed was, that Northern Dragons are ambush predators, that carefully spring traps upon their prey and enemies. They are known to approach Adventurers to test their mettle as well.The Story of Arkonsisi
Arkonsisi is an interesting study subject. they were a beastmen like no other. They were said to have the face of a fox, the wings of a bird, and the claws of a dragon. This creature identified itself as Arkonsis, and a female. They were extremely dodging of question of their very unique look, usually ignoring questions. This gave her the moniker of the Enigmatic One. She is speculated to be the bipedal form of a northern Dragon. She joined the adventurer's guild as a 'teenager' and was known to cut down some recently brewing high level threats. She collected pay from these bounties, and then donated half it it back to a charity for lesser fortunate folk. She sporadically appears every now and then. She is known to carry a greatsword that almost seems too big for her."Her strength was unnatural, as pretty as she was, she bore scars and that sword...by the gods, she called it Magnavelk? 'The Strange Fox'Due to this it is expected that these dragons can blend into beastmen populations, and as a biped, still bare dragon strength. They favor heavy weapons, and even a breath weapon. This gives an extra level of enigmatic history to their kind.
