The area was first settled by wood elves, and have established their Capitol of Faenduileir.
It was soon after that the Ferai had moved into a stone temple that was created by the Maelstromers in the region. This temple was a mighty stone structure that soon had a small town being built around it. The Human populations have theen decided to wall off the city from the wilderness, afraid to cause conflict with the rather quiet and Enigmatic Wood Elves of Faenduilier. Thjis created the City state of Serlis Nominica, which was lather named Saint Serlis Nominica, Fortunately, they have a beneficial relationshjip with the wood elf tribes that roam Nominica, and its not rare to see them mingle about the streets of the Holy City.
Mythology & Lore
The Center of attention in the region would be the Temple of Life, in Saint Serlis Nominica. It was a human-built stone monestary built over the largest Life Fount found on Gaia to date. Instead of the gods they worship here, they worship the land and life as a whole. Life is the blood of Gaia and it must not be impeded. Necromancy is forbidden in this land and if it's publically seen, it will cause disruptions and possible execution by the Guardians of Light.
The Elven gods here are also recognized, but mostly remains to ancestral worship as the wood elves always did. This beleif and act of faith hjas spread to all over Nominica, and ancestral worship has become the primary reason behind faith, on top of the Lifeblood of Gaia.
