Wooshu (Woo-shoo)

Nature's Guardian

Wooshu, Nature's Guardian is an Elder Imperial dragon that is known both in Rei-Val and Gaia for his immense power in Druid Magic. Unlike many Imperial dragons, Wooshu's scales are Emerald green with Golden Eyes. Being one of the worlds' Few Elder Dragons, he is amongst the Draconic Gods pantheon to those with a lean towards Nature.

The Runestones of Wooshu

Wooshu is known to be quite a poet. These rune-stones of Wooshu are found all about both Rei-val and Gaia, they usually include an inscription written in Draconic that usually is seen as something akin to a diary entry. These stones are highly sought after by several parties, even the Order of Druids that consider Wooshu their patron deity.
They are massive stones that are usually larger than a humanoid, and finished off with a green hue that gives a glow. The stones are either Marble, Granite, or even a t times Obsidian. It is unknown how Wooshu wrote these, or if he even did at all. They are important points of view of certain events or individuals. It gives the idea that if Wooshu was ever encountered, he would be quite the talker.

Personal history

Not Much is known about Wooshu outside of his Rune-stones. Due to how different he was to the traditional Imperial Dragon, he was thought to be an Outcast who came across immense divine power. Wooshu was known to live around Chanqxi and most notable, the Jade Jungle for a time. He however was also sighted in Rei-Val, which is Gaia's Sister world through the Portal found in Vandress.
The stories go, he was the essence of nature that when he hatched, his power was so immense that he possibly had killed his own parents unintentionally with the divine magic that radiated from him. He was seen as a curse in the Imperial customs and cast out to die. However instead of taking revenge, Wooshu accepted this fate, and not wanting to hurt anyone, was banished into the Nexus, a dimension that connects the known worlds into a web.
He had found himself in Rei-Val where he considered to be his prison, and grew many centuries older there, before he figured out how to activate the Nexus and travel between Gaia and Rei-Val. He had returned to the Jade Jungle, only to find out that they were now Isarian territories and the Dragon populations have fallen considerably.

"They were my family, those of the wingless ruby scales; I was their omen and caused them to find their end. I weep for my kin, for why I was cursed with this power... I wish I could have helped them survive the Jade Canopy. I should have never returneth to Gaia, I have forsaken their once proud ways. Forgive me, my kin...I never wanted to hurt you."

Wooshu, struck with sadness and guilt, had turned to wander the world aimlessly. He was the youngest of the Elder Dragons, and did not understand what his role and purpose was. He hid himself away in the deepest of jungles, and forests, allowing him to be overgrown with vines, wearing them as a symbol of his pain. He began to etch the Runestones in an attempt of atonement, or filter to grieve from. He never did seek the rest of his kin out of fear of bringing them ill-luck as he considered his fate to be.
For now he hides away from everyone, in the deepest and most dangerous of forests.
