Gar'gomaut
Elder God of the Giants
Elder God of the Giants, ancestor to the giant race. He ascended from the magma that pulsated deep within an underwater trench, created by collision from the Garonis Gaiostone. Molded by the Garonis Gaiostone’s power, Gar’gomaut had the power to raise & reshape land masses. He used this power to raise the continent of Gar’shuun to the surface, which would become the homeland of the giants.
Gar’gomaut had children amongst the Giants that would later form the Giant Pantheon:
•Vulca, Fire Giant god of Volcanoes
•Rathuum, Stone Giant god of Earthquakes
•Heig’aroth, Storm Giant god of Mountains
•Oumiat, Forest Giant goddess of Grasslands & Forests
•Tatamoui, Giant goddess of Islands & Seas
•Sthogurd, Frost Giant god of Tundras
During the Perniam War, Cecailaen sorcerers used the Rouzhai Gaiostone, ancient ashes of Vulca, and some Blauri Magic to reanimate Gar’gomaut & create a new god: hybrid Giant/Cecailaen with Draconic attributes
Gar’gomaut story Before the Gaioforce Extinction, there was only a small arctic land & ice mass at the South Pole. When the Garonis Gaiostone crashed to Gaion, it hit the magnetic South Pole dead on with enough force to destroy the arctic island. However, the stone’s power rippled through the entire Southern Ocean (continent-sized region around the South Pole) with atomic inspiration from the arctic island, converting it to a diverse land & water continent. This became Esgaron. Denothis, wishing to match the divine being Aurovi created in the ocean, fucked the volcanic trench/core of the South Pole, which contained the Garonis Gaiostone. Gar’gomaut was born from the magma with the Gaiostone in his chest, becoming the First Giant. Gar’gomaut gave life to giant kind by wandering all over Esgaron, stabilizing the continent with his matter control powers and crating life from the elements: Frost Giants from ice, Stone Giants from solid stone, Fire Giants from burning magma, Storm Giants from active storm systems, Cloud Giants from clouds & wind, and Sea Giants from salt & freshwater. The first of each giant race was created through Gar’gomaut fucking the land; all giants of this race were created less intimately by Gar’gomaut & his child so as to follow in example. By creating life to an entire category of creature, Gar’gomaut & his children ascended to godhood. Gar’gomaut ordered his pantheon to lead the giants on a total conquest of the world, being heavily inhibited during their crossings of the ocean by seafolk. However, they persisted and waged against dragons for dominion of the budding humanoid societies. Entire civilizations were erased during this time, as their Giant or dragon overlords farmed them for meat & tyranny. Gar’gomaut & the Sea Giants waged war against Akana, hoping to add the ocean to his dominion. By the end of the war, Gar’gomaut was slain; Akana ripped the stone from his chest with the Aurotriton, flung it across the sea (landing in the ocean to form the Seregan Islands), impaling the giant god into the core of the South Pole, then channeling more of the Blauri Gaiostone’s power than ever in history. She transmuted the entire continent into her own twisted version of dark matter and sunk it beneath the sea, destroying most of it in the process. Gar’gomaut’s corpse was forced deep into the now-underwater ruin, pulsing his essence into the seascape. This war made him & Akana the only Ascension Gods during the Gigadragonomy to not kill a Wyrmking.
