Ruler: King Maezon
Story: King Maezon was known for his unnecessary cruelty & arrogance of his rule. Angry at his peoples’ grievances and rising rebellions, he used the ancient, Daidrin power of Baelzor’s Bident (passed down king to king in their family line) to send a “Life Control Wave” across his nation, ensuring that no one could ever defy his rule again. However, he misunderstood how this power would work; the curse instead detonated the artifact as a Necrotic Bomb, spreading a wave of necrotic dark energy throughout his kingdom. The N-Bomb killed most of its citizens immediately, turning them into flesh-eating zombies that could spread the curse with its bite. Those who survived live in apocalyptic conditions, while the rest of its inhabitants roam either as zombies, skeletons (if they are completely devoured by zombies or their flesh has since departed), or ghosts (if they die by any other methods in this region, or their spirits had not yet departed the mortal realm when the blast hit). Rumors say that the blast killed the king, but rose him as one of the undead. The rumors also mention that those who got too close to the ruins of his castle were killed by militant undead, implying that he may have formed a military force out of his undead subjects.

Story: A long-lasting city-state in the heart of living Frost Elf territory, untouched by the undead. With the region imbued by the Daidrin Gaioforce, many Fraeskovians practice cold & space magicks through its power. They consider necromancy to be taboo and criminalize anyone they catch doing it within city walls.

Race: Vampiric Elves, one of the three descendents of the ancient Moon Elf race
Ruler: Lord Daedrius
Story: Vampiric Elves were created by the Moon Elves who first discovered the Daidrin Gaiostone. Through their sorcery & Druidic magicks, they unleashed the Gaiostones’ power upon themselves, becoming Gaion’s first vampires. With this power, these Moon Elf vampires subjugated the majority of Cyregnor, ruling many territories under separate Vampire Lords and decimating their living populations. The spread of vampirism is a significant factor to why the majority of creatures on Cyregnor are undead. The Daedrian Empire is a long-lasting empire ruled by one of the original vampires, Lord Daedrius. His empire has expanded and shrunk over the years, yet he has remained in power. He is a master of the Daidrin Gaioforce, and keeps several farms of Frost Elves as a consistent food source & replenishment of ranks.
