• Minor Toxifire Breath (3rd level): 3d6 poison & 3d6 fire, 15 ft cone
• Lesser Toxifire Breath (6th level): 6d6 poison & 6d6 fire, 30 ft cone
• Greater Toxifire Breath (8th level): 8d6 poison & 8d6 fire, 60 ft cone
• Ancient Toxifire Breath (9th level): 11d6 poison & 11d6 fire, 90 ft cone

Effect

The caster extends their hand, foot or mouth and emits a 60 ft cone of poisonous gas. All creatures within the AoE must make a Constitution saving throw or take 8d6 poison damage (half upon the success). After that, the same targets must make a Dexterity saving throw or take the appropriate fire damage (based on levels indicated above, half damage upon success) as the poison gas ignites with green flame.

This spell is only innately available to Forest Dragons & Draconic bloodline sorcerers with Forest (green) dragon ancestry. However, it can be transcribed by a wizard if found on Draconic runes, learned by a reptilian spellcaster through connecting with a dead Forest Dragon's essence, or gifted to a creature directly by a Forest Dragon. If a Dragonborn, Lizardfolk, Tortle, yuan-ti, kobold or other reptilian creature casts this spell, they can add their spellcasting ability modifier (Constitution if they aren't a caster) to the total damage from this spell.

Side/Secondary Effects

If a creature fails both saving throws, they suffer from Toxic Burn, which poisons them until cured, deals 1d6 poison damage at the end of each turn, and simulates one level of Exhaustion. The target can make a Con save at the end of each turn after the damage is taken, ending these effects immediately. Any spell or effect that heals poison or disease will also end these effects immediately.
