The Thanksgivings

The Thanksgivings are a pair of Auroran festivals held during the harvest season. They are held approximately two weeks apart, and each signifies a different event in Auroran history.
An explanation of the Thanksgivings:

• The First Thanksgiving denotes the first harvest, completed a year after arriving on their new world.
• The Second Thanksgiving is to show gratitude for the first colonists, who survived their ship crashlanding into the planet when attempting to land. This was caused by Helios, Aurora's star, interfering with the electronics on the ship.
