Captain Cassiopeia (a.k.a. Cass)

Cassiopeia (known as Cass) is a Human Space Pirate and the first known true-born human in the territories.
Due to her true-born nature, Cass was constantly on the run, until the day she stowed away aboard a pirate vessel. This event led to her becoming a space pirate, and eventually a captain.

Birth and early life

Cass was the unexpected daughter of a male human space marine, and a female human station controller. Humans were widely considered to be sterile by design, and a sudden pregnancy and live birth was quite unusual to say the least. Understanding that news of Cass' birth could make her a target for corporate interests, she was kept as secret as possible from others.
The station on which she was born and spent most of her childhood was heavily crewed by human labourers, who in solidarity helped keep the secret and tried their best to give Cass a pleasant life, even while understanding very little about the rearing of their own offspring.
As a child, Cass had a great interest in history and would happily read about ancient cultures, customs, battles, and technologies.
in 6252, at 14 years of age, a corporate inspection on the station led to Cass' parents having to force her off-station by stowing her away on a merchant vessel. This event had a massive efect on the way she thought about her parents and would, with time, come to hate them for forcing her to fend for herself from such an early age.
For the next three years, Cass would try to survive by doing odd jobs on station and ships. As she grew, her father's genetics became more prominent and she had grown into a tall and strong figure, well-suited for manual labour and self-defense. Still, she was rather destitute, with few possessions, and what little money she had left after buying necessities went to purchasing history books and marksmanship practice.

Cass is in peak physical condition. She is muscular and curvy, however she is also covered in scars from many years of rough living and adventuring throughout the reaches.

Cass owns a Galentean Tiger
She has a passion for history and archeology, and has a rather considerable collection of ancient artifacts and antiquities in her quarters. She also has her own weapons cabinet, filled with her personal armaments and special/rare weapons and trophies.
In her off time Cass will practice her marksmanship, and spar with her crewmates to keep her fighting abilities up. She plays regular matches of Grel Chess with Argus and engage in other recreational activities within the ship's rec-room.
