The Crimson Queen, aggressive
The Crimson Queen Alyssum is a fierce and powerful leader, feared by her enemies and revered by her people. She rules over the Crimson Elves from the towering castle of Autumn's Wake, built into the red leaves of Lunan. Her rule is absolute, and she commands an army of powerful warriors and mages who are fiercely loyal to her.
Alyssum is fights as if she is dancing, gracefully moving between her crimson elven swords to her intricately crafted bow. She wears red armor that shimmers orange. She moves swiftly and can leap from tree to tree as if she is a leaf blowing in the wind.
She is a fierce and cunning leader, and her enemies tremble at the mere mention of her name. Her eyes are said to gleam with a fire that burns with the same intensity as the passion she holds for her people and her home. She is a symbol of strength, unity and resilience to her people and they would follow her to the ends of the earth. Her rule is absolute, but fair, and she governs with wisdom and compassion.

Alyssum can no longer have children, she tried in her youth but due to an unforeseen accident she is now unable to bear children.
She adopted a young vespin boy carried by a woodland animal when she was around 30. The boy was displaced during the Great Blaze that took place around 20 years ago.
The baby was burned on it's arm and neck. She named him Phlox.
Alyssum has since devoted her life to her kingdom and her people, and her love for Phlox is like that of a mother. She has trained him in the ways of the Crimson Elves, and he is now a skilled warrior and archer, fighting alongside her in battles. She has also made sure that Phlox is well-educated and knowledgeable in the ways of politics and diplomacy.
Alyssum also spends much time counselling her niece Iris, future heir to the Crimson Queen title.
She has trained her to be a worthy successor to the throne, and she is now being groomed to take her place as ruler of the Crimson Elves when Alyssum is no longer able to. She has found fulfillment in being a mother figure to Phlox and Iris and ensuring that the kingdom will continue to thrive under their rule.
She has deemed that her niece Princess Iris will take the throne from her.
