Fester of Ful’Rak - Crinean

Ridra attending this church
The Fester of Ful'Rak, a decaying shrine to the ogre and goblin deity Ful'Rak, stands in eerie silence on the outskirts of Crinean, a vineyard port town nestled within the Mooncrest Woods. Known as "Foulrot" to the Gaulans, Ful'Rak’s followers are shunned and kept away from the heart of the town. At its peak, the Fester was maintained by Ridra, a devout goblin who diligently tended to the rotting pile of offerings left at the foot of Ful'Rak’s grotesque statue. The shrine’s grim presence was a stark contrast to the lush vineyards nearby, its stench and aura of decay serving as a reminder of Ful'Rak’s dark influence.
Ridra's quiet reign over the Fester came to a violent end when the adventurers of the Shatterbrand destroyed the statue, shattering Ful'Rak's hold over the region. After the shrine’s desecration, Ridra, driven by vengeance, joined the Kingfishers, a faction of dragon hunters, and attempted to strike back at the Shatterbrand. Her defeat marked the final blow to the Fester’s power. Now, with Ridra gone, the once-feared shrine lies abandoned, slowly being consumed by the encroaching vines and wild growth of the Mooncrest Woods, a relic of a forgotten, festering faith.
