Flyboat

A fluyt, also known as a flyboat, is a type of light vessel primarily used for merchant trade, but can also serve as an auxiliary warship due to its agility. It is designed for cargo transportation, with a high cargo-to-crew ratio, allowing it to carry large amounts of cargo while requiring a smaller crew to operate it. The ship is equipped with sails and oars for propulsion, and is able to navigate the open seas and coastal waters. It is armed with light artillery, such as swivel guns, and has grappling hooks and boarding ladders, allowing the crew to board and capture enemy ships. The ship also has reinforced sides and decks to provide protection to the crew and cargo. The crew is made up of sailors, merchants, and possibly soldiers, and it can be used for a variety of roles such as transport, convoy escorts and quick hit-and-run raids.
