His son, Henry Windslayer, moved to Grigue in the Echose Marshlands, where he carved out a life in the shipping and trade business, connecting the mainland through vital economic ties. His daughter, Olkera, was married off to Ukerett Tevesh, a member of a historically hostile clan that had once fought bitter battles against the Windslayers but was now an uneasy ally. Gerfield's decisions shaped a legacy of cautious neutrality, forging alliances through subtlety rather than bloodshed.
