Norgin is a city nestled in the harsh, volcanic mountains of the Firefang Jags region. Its slate-built, spired architecture reflect the city's long history of mining and extraction industries. In recent years, a great rainfall transformed the old mining quarry into a series of water pools, turning Norgin into a resort town and drawing tourists from near and far to experience the therapeutic hot springs. The dwarf family leading Norgin, the Graybore Clan, were originally involved in the mining industry but have adapted to the changes brought about by the transformation of the quarry. The Deepback Clan, a political family, holds the title of Viscount in the Dwarven Viscourt. Norgin is also allegedly the place where mead, a potent and highly sought-after beverage called Snake's Venom by nearby gaul, was first created.
Norgin is home to the largest underwater quarry in the Firefang Jags, where Highland Dwarves mine precious gems and minerals from the depths of the flooded quarry.
