Vine is Paimon's wife, she is an Ornir. Her house was wiped out entirely from Ba'an but Var'Garazz saved her to honor the lineage he was requested to cull. As much as she fears him, Vine knows the system of conquest held by the houses of Ba'an. The Fifth House was stricken from all history for their acts of treachery against Rezial. Now she lives in secret with the Ninth House, the very one that went to war with her family and slaughtered them. She genuinely loves Paimon as he is not a war monger. Interestingly, neither is his father, Var'Garazz was the best warrior bard that could be called upon and he accepted the March of the Battle Strings to end all future calls to arm to his house.
