Reno Ducard, the brother of Godwin, shared in the journey and settlement in Skiptonef. Alongside his brother, he dedicated himself to the life of farming and the prosperity it could bring. Their combined efforts led to the eventual sale of the farm, which proved instrumental in elevating their family's standing and affording them a place among the elite in the prestigious Argyll district of Skygarde.
