Instead of being hanged again, he was painted green and made to impersonate Gnarl for Carnyx’s plan to disguise criminals as the Shatterbrand and get the reward.
Once the irritating pirate Rumhands, now reborn into the stout physique of a hill dwarf, his earlier swagger and bravado are unmistakably intact, despite the drastic change. Though shorter, with a bushy beard and thickset brows, his restless eyes dart around with the same mischief and ill intent. His new form, while stocky and hardy, betrays a certain vulnerability — an incongruity that only those in the know can truly understand. Following a divine lightning intervention, Rumhands once again found himself on the wrong side of justice. But rather than meeting the noose again, his fate took another twist. Coated in a garish green, he is now a pawn in Carnyx's larger game, a mere tool used to mislead and deceive. The rebirth hasn't changed Rumhands' essence, and the pirate's relentless drive for mischief still fuels his every move.
