Shipsink Crab

The Shipsink Crab, a small, hardy and resourceful species that can be found scuttling along the rocky shores of the south coast of the island. They tend to dig into docks and make little holes for safety. They are an ill omen on a ship at sea because when there is one, there are usually many. If they get too eager with their burrowing in wood, many a ship has sunk to this tiny menace. Shipton is a famous location for the crabs, this is why the main dock had to be moved outside of town, up the coast to keep the shipsink crabs away.
