The Twins
The Twins. These castles are identical in every way and are said to have been built by twin brothers who were fierce rivals. The castles are now used as a fortification against invaders and as a training ground for the local militia. There are many bridges now connecting the two castles.
The Twins are a pair of massive stone castles built on opposite hills, overlooking a sprawling valley below. The castles are mirror images of each other, with identical walls, towers, and battlements. At their base, a deep moat spans the distance between them, filled with chilly water that keeps the castles isolated from the world below. Each castle has a single entrance, a large drawbridge that leads into the courtyard, where soldiers train with weapons and practice maneuvers. Inside, the castles are filled with barracks, armories, and living quarters for the soldiers who call it home. The walls are lined with arrow slits and murder holes, ready to rain down death on any attackers foolish enough to try and breach the fortress. The two castles maintain a fierce rivalry, with each vying for the honor of being declared the strongest and most impregnable.
