In Grovesend there is the White River, a brook with glistening white rocks on the riverbed that shimmer in the sun and also absorb its light, allowing the river to glow dimly orange under the moonlight.
The village is built around the White River, with many of the houses and buildings constructed from the same white stone found in the riverbed. The elves of Grovesend have a deep reverence for the river and believe it to be sacred, many of the villagers make offerings to the river spirit in hopes of bountiful harvests and good health.
The village is also known for its beautiful gardens and orchards, where the elves grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. The gardens are tended to by the villagers with great care and are a source of pride for the community. The village also has a large library, where the elves of Grovesend can be found researching and studying a wide range of subjects.
