Remus and Boto discovered that the magical squid creature known as the Cuddlefish was able to produce a potion. The species was culled to extinction but the Seekers and Magi Guild travelled to all affected parts of the land and cured the Fogholt Plague magically. To the point that even their children would inherit the immunity.
The dispersal method of the cure was developed by the alchemist Kenneth Xing. Little did anyone know, his idea was given to him by the whispers of the cube he possessed. Vlox’s cube created this deadly plague but was too dangerous and united people against it. Now, after decades Vlox convinced the people of Galfin to destroy the creature that could end his harrowed. Yes his Black Fog had ended, but his future spread of Harrowed now had no natural threat. This manor was taken by the Kingfishers when they tried to secure allies of Vlox and the Xing research. Corrupting sigils of other gods became something Incinerin was interested in. So that regular worship could supply a small boon to Vlox as he regains power.
