The Soul Monger

The players are exploring the Wilds of the Island of Chult looking for a mysterious device called "The Soulmonger". There is a curse worldwide that is preventing resurrection magic from working and those whom have received that blessing in the past are dying once more. An ex-adventurer Syndra Silvane has tasked several adventurers to find this "Soulmonger" and stop the curse. Being a victim of the curse herself she has offered the adventurers a prize of a rare magic item of their choosing. Time is of great importance, who knows how long before the curse will take her. The jungles are vast and a few locations are known on the island, what information was available was gathered by different contacts of Syndra. The adventurers are given that map of the region and teleported into the port city of Nyanzaru.

    Day 1 - Eleint 3rd, 1492

    This is the first day that the party met with Syndra Silvane. She recruited them to find and stop the Soulmonger. Teleporting them to Port Nyanzaru starts their journey.   @Ashton @RJ

    The remainder of those whom Syndra Silvane hired to assist her arrive in Port Nyanzaru. They convene with the other party members then deal with some agreements and arrangements. Birds of a feather...   @Ramsey @Roman @Kaylana @Evan

    Day 3 - Eleint 5th, 1492

    The day was spent preparing for their journey into the wilderness. However their guide had a different plan. Taking a ship to the south end of the island. A much more lucrative and leisurely way to travel. They met Zindar and Captain Wolgar of the Soul of Winter.

    Day 4 - Eleint 6th, 1492

    The party's first day out to sea. @Roman doesn't have his sea legs. The Captain shows his wisdom as they approached the edge of the bay. The humongous Dragon Turtle that lives there is distracted by another ship and allows them time to slip by unnoticed.

    Day 5 - Eleint 7th, 1492

    The crew spotted the signs of a possible shipwreck and allowed the party to go for a swim. A trio of merrow wanted a snack and the party learned their first lesson in underwater combat. They also discovered that the Soul of Winter has a Warlock on retainer for occasional services.   @Carter

    The party continues to try and understand the magical objects they have. Attunement and testing? Maybe some stir crazy? Another dive and it isn't really what they expected to find.

    Wishing you Well!   The crew and party met a trio of Merrfolk who were the caretakers of a wishing well. You don't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need.
