Distant Gods

History

Largely believed to cause the formation of the Matter Plane and potentially the Gateway Network itself.

Mythology & Lore

Many scholar theorize they may have been the original gods, or some type of Proto-god, possibly formed or existing before time or gravity itself. The term 'god' has been plural in all of these speakings, which would imply that it is the work of not one, but an unknown multiple amount of gods.

Divine Origins

There are some cultures that have had what is largely accepted as an authentic communication with a being of deific power. In most instances where the formation of the cultures planet, life, or even the universe at large is brought up, the answer correlates with others, to summarize: "The Universe was created by the Distant Gods, beings of huge unimaginable power even to the gods."

Worship

They are considered too distant and abstract for most mortals to worship. Their practices, rituals, and traditions are unknown.
