Aletha's Boonfire Vision

Aletha of the Flintclaw stared into the shifting flames of the Boonfire and this is what she saw.

Summary

As Aletha focused on the flames of the Boonfire, the blazed turned gray and flinty. She found herself at home in The Break. She was before a mountain lake whose name she knew. Before her was an injured bird, its wing badly broken. Her instinct was to help it, so she approached, but it fled at her movement, and moved into the icy waters of the lake, where it drowned itself in fear of her assistance.
