Industry & Trade
Nineboons is usually considered the gateway to the Drembari Isles. Its shipyard is renowned for producing high quality and durable vessels.
More than any other city on the The Mourncoast. Nineboons is a favorite destination for many a freebooter from the Free Cities of Marlock. The result are vibrant trading opportunities between those disparate cities and Nineboons.
History
Nineboons is easily the oldest city in Skint Parish. There is amble evidence it existed as early as 120 in the Unknown Era. Previously known (and still called this by some) as Ibbor's Ferry, Nineboons has been an important part of Skint history since as long as there has been a Skint. It was the site of a major battle in the Skintish War (the Battle of Nineboons, 823 AC) and the last known location of Thar Leerstrom. The city was conquered by the Alerki Ascendency along with the rest of Skint in 824 AC.
It is seemingly constantly at odds with Twicewater.
