Clayskin Lake
Clayskin Lake is a lake tainted with Skeinshale runoff, alongside other pollutants. It is nestled at the base of Stonetalon Crag.
There are those that say the lake itself has a palpable aura of dread, that it has attained a vengeful sentience that seeks to pull under the unwary. As such, young cityfolk are often dared to brave its waters. Some of these individuals do not make it back home.
Recent years have seen ramshackle shanties assemble around the lake, as the land there is of no value to industry, so it is claimed by squatters and those whose financial circumstances preclude them living elsewhere.
If Clayskin had a name previous to the one now ascribed to it, it has been lost to the ages.
