Structure
The Kingdom of Kh'Axros maintains a rigid social structure. At the top is the God-King, whose word is complete. Below them are the Anointed and the leadership of the God-King's Host, which includes the Marshals. Below that is the Yakeeri, dedicated to service to the God-King. At the bottom is anyone not Yakeeri, which includes the majority of the Kh'Axri people.
Elevation to the Yakeeri occurs through The Yakeer, and is understood as important to have any meaningful chance at upward mobility in this structure.
Culture
The Kh'Axri value the needs of the group over the needs of the individual. Collective identity is ingrained in Kh'Axri culture, with many Kh'Axri taking comfort in the part they play in the continuation of the Kingdom.
Kh'Axri also place a large importance on ancestor reverence, especially those that have since departed the mortal plane. Some Kh'Axri view themselves as re-incarnations of previous ancestors.
Perhaps because of ways in which the strength of the collective and the vitality of the past in woven into Kh'Axri culture, any sort of cultural change is viewed with skepticism, and is glacially-slow to adopted by most Kh'Axri, with some outright rejecting any sort of change or modification to the sacred traditions of their people.
Military
The God-King's Host is the main military arm of the Kingdom, and is comprised of enlisted, newly inducted Yakeeri and senior leadership, including Marshals of the God-King.
In time of war and emergency, non-Yakeeri will be pressed into service as militia.
Foreign Relations
The Kingdom maintains a mostly isolationist foreign policy. Ambassadors from The Icehost and Gattland are permitted offices in Kh'Axros.
The Alerki Ascendency is expressly banned from Kh'Axri lands.
Agriculture & Industry
Most Kh'Axri are directly involved in the cultivation of Driq, a fibrous plant that produces both edible fruit and root systems. The importance of driq to the Kh'Axri cannot be overstated.
The husbandry of mararak, a small, exquisitely hairy yak-like mammal, is also a key aspect of the Kh'Axri economy, as it provides both dairy and meat to the people.
Himmoxi, a six-legged horse, is unique to the steepes of the Kingdom. Mastery of Himmoxi riding is revered among the Kh'Axri, as it allows for swift navigation of the Kingdom. As such, these creatures require a special license to breed, and are forbidden to be exported

Education
Formal education is reserved for the Yakeeri, with particular focus on those studying to become Anointed.
The God-King's Host maintains a military college for those expected to lead its ranks.
Priesthood
Khurzi’s will is brought to the masses by the Anointed, administrator-priests who interpret the God-King's wishes.

Major Imports
Kh'Axri pride themselves on self-reliance and rarely import anything from any of the other political entities on Gavros.
There have been recent exceptions for some of the goods of Gattland, and informal trading with the nomadic tribes of The Icehost happens on a regular basis.
