Rifanki Yis-Drolikian (RIFF-an-key YIS-dro-LICK-e-an)
(a.k.a. The First Chronicler)
Rifanki Yis-Drolikan was a celebrated adventurer, scribe, and founder of The Dedication of the Chronicle.
Some have come to regard her as an avatar of Mestrilros.

Personal history
Before she undertook the founding of the Dedication, Rifanki was known to be a brave adventurer, travelling with her companions from place to place and engaging in dangerous activity for coin and glory. Eventually, however, she tired of that life and decided to dedicate herself to the pursuit of cataloguing knowledge.
Her activities as First Chronicler of the Dedication are well-documented.
She died during the Siege of Tonda in 801 AC. She singlehandedly defeated Parviltrazix the Smiling in combat, protecting the Principal Chronicle from the dragon's flames, but suffering mortal wounds in the process.
She is said to have borne several children, but there is no mention of her personal life (outside of the year of her birth and death) in any documents in the Principal Chronicle.
