Initial Survey Findings (3rd Hensa of Raqalam, 818 AF)
We write this to document findings of the teams initial survey of this Daxon ruin that was granted access to by the Restix Expanse government. There is currently a church to the goddess Morana I believe is how it is spelt. There a few different iterations of spelling and I don't know which is the most current. The door that leads into this ruin has some sort of language written on it. We will have to look more into what this language is but the door opens only during the day suggesting it is powered by the light in some way. The first chamber we enter had worked stone and the metal used in the doors means this Daxon race as it has been termed was more advanced then we are currently. The doors in here where all closed but opening them where not difficult to figure out. Although we did encounter a few doors that have a missing metal piece. There are no signs of life of any kind and did find some strange metal circles that have this language on it. I haven't quite figured out which of these gears are used to open the door as there are 30 or so different gears of various sizes. More reports to follow over the next few months, very exited!
Keys (3rd Gava of Raqalam, 818 AF)
It seems the keys are interchangeable on some doors and others require specific keys or multiple keys. Doors that lead to a hallway or storage room seem to accept any key. There are two types of keys these larger 1/2M diameter gear keys and the smaller 5CM diameter gear keys. The smaller keys seem to be the ones that are not interchangeable and only work in specific doors. When you insert a 1/2M key into a door the same key can be found on the other side of the door. Not sure how the same key can be found and it seems endless and limitless, this will have to be researched further. The 5CM keys once inserted into a door will only be removable from the same side it was inserted into, meaning you could lock someone into a room like that.
Rooms (4th Imparus of Raqalam, 818 AF)
There are
13 14 rooms (the 13 has been scratched out and 14 been written over it), and 4 hallways. Bellow are notes on the rooms we found.
- An entry way room with two connecting hallways, no special doors connect to this
- A half circular ritual room of some kind that requires any key
- A rotted wood dinning room, why did they have this?
- Another rotted wood room with old beds, again why?
- There is a tiled room that has some stoves? This technology seems advanced compared to ours
- A wooden pantry room connects to this tiled room
- A stone room that contains more technology and hollow metal tubes of some kind
- The stone room is adjacent to a junction room that is 20 foot long and when entered the room requires locking the door behind you before it shot water and air at you before opening the next door. Why?
- An empty room that may have contained something at one point
- A worked stone room with strange pod technology, there are things in these pods!
- A room full of Daxon technology
- Another empty room
- Another room, with gold floors that has technology in it and a DAXON!!!!

Repairs (4th Quad of Raqalam - 3rd Hensa, of Zista, 818 AF)
We have requested that the wooden floors be ripped up and replaced. After some convincing of the benefactors to our research this was approved. The wood in the rooms has now been replaced and it smells much better then it did. We eventually got a nice dinning room set, and some nicer food beyond just rations. Next request is a small team of chefs and cleaners.
