Recreating Bewitching Metal (4th Imparus of Zista - 1st Jeta of Faffit, 819 AF)
We brought some of the material from the Bedrock Mines back here to experiment with. We are going to attempt to recreate Daxon alloy. We believe the mix is 50% iron, 40% bewitching metal, and the remainder made up of zinc and copper. First we need to create the bewitching metal. Through some trial an error we took 60% Cobalt, 30% Nickel, and 10% Bismuth melted down at 65 Celsius. As soon as the metal was cool to the touch struck it with a bolt of lightning and this created the Bewitching Metal. It floats about 5ft off the ground when not weighted down by other things, truly fascinating.
Recreating Daxon Alloy (1st Quad of Faffit - 3rd Lis of Faffit, 819 AF)
Taking that and melting it down to be combined with Iron we tried different variations of zinc and copper to get the best mix. With a 50% iron, 40% bewitching metal, these are the combinations of zinc and copper we tried and a grade of how good it was. All done at 70 Celsius letting it cool naturally.
- 5% Zinc & 5% Copper - Looks functional but when inserted into Daxon technology will cause a mild shock to occur - 30% successful
- 3% Zinc & 7% Copper - The color seems off, seems functional but will cause jams and faulty machinery - 10% successful
- 7% Zinc & 3% Copper - Looks functional and does function, this seems to be the mix -
100% successful 90% successful
(Below the list is added) The successful mixture will fail upon being melted a third time so adding magic ruins is impossible. In order to do this one must add the ruins while the metal is between 30 and 35 Celsius maintaining that heat if necessary and then rapid cooling it after placing the ruins so they keep there shape.
Activating Daxon in Vault (2nd Kisla of Zista - 1st Po of Faffit, 820 AF)
We found that the Daxon in the Vault was missing a gear on its back that allowed it to function. We had to create a 5CM gear of the number 1 in Clockwork to activate the Clockwork Forged. We immediately had to remove the gear though as it began to attack instantly. We found that with the 0 key in had that we found in the Ritual Room, the Clockwork Forged will not attack you but it also doesn't acknowledge you in any way. If more then one person is the room with it only the person with the 0 key will be safe from the attacks of the creature. This has allowed us to use it as a way to guard the vault and let only one person in at a time.
Creating a Daxon Automaton (3rd Lis of Sanif 821 AF - 3rd Kisla of Faffit 822 AF)
With Daxon alloy in hand and a purple crystal shard, we will attempt to create a hybrid of Clockwork Forged and Virtual Forged Daxon. We will make a simple design, a spider. We created the form of the spider easy enough and placing the crystal into the middle as we designed did nothing. (There is a long range of time where no updates where made to this file) Dino has done it, he is a genius. He theorized that the clockwork could work as the body of, the crystal the soul but that it still needed a magical component. After remaking the body to include amplification ruins in the design Dino created and cast a spell on the creature and it worked. The creature only listens and follows Dino's commands and has the intelligence of well a spider but it is working.
