Grand Highway

This once fully lit highway ran from Kronos all the way to the Dark Compound. Early on in the 1st age, the lit part of the highway on the dark side of Ayr went mysteriously dark, and despite their best efforts, scientists from Kronos were unable to repair it. with no light or communication, the Dark Compound wasn't heard from again for over 50 years. In the modern era, the dark, unlit side is used as a highway for vehicles and caravans, and is often raided by the Dark Brotherhood. The covered part of the highway on the light side is used as quick and relatively safe passage between the military fortress Phoenix in the ruins of Kronos, and the dark side of Ayr.
