Three Sisters

The sisters are a small volcanic island chain just off the West coast of Ayr. The 3 volcanoes are said to play a role in the legendary Great Prophecy, when all 3 erupt in harmony, they shall herald the end days. Late in the 4th Age, the Three Sisters sank beneath the waves. They weren't seen again for almost 250 years, until 8 years ago when they suddenly reappeared off the coast on August 8th, at 8am.
Before they shrank into the waves for centuries, the volcanos had begun to erupt at irregular intervals, forcing many of the Tukui Birds that nested on the volcanic slopes to flee, and causing acid rains and cracks to form on the Western edges of Ayr. These effects have largely dissipaited in the centuries following the Sisters sinking. However, upon their return, residents of Wanderhome have been reporting cases of occasional light tremors any time the walking village strays near the coastal Sisters...
