Crimson Brigade
The Crimson Brigade dates back to the Great Cataclysm. The order was created after the Wound scared the land. Races from all over took up the call to defend the world from the underdark denizens. They swore an oath to man the Keep until death claimed them. Once, serving in the Crimson Brigade was the highest honor bestowed on only a few, but as the years past fewer and fewer people take the oath. Less then one hundred Crimson Brigade stand watch over the Wound where once stood thousands. The hire adventurers to fill their numbers and keep the dwellers of the pit at bay. Many say that the Crimson Brigade will be gone in a few decades.
