5WIRL (SWIRL)
5WIRL (read as SWIRL and formerly known as 4NEMO, read as ANEMO) are a world-famous band, lead by its bass guitarist and songwriter, German-born singer, Venti Frei.
Up until November 2036, they were a quartet. However, during the first concert of their comeback tour after their year-long hiatus, their fifth member, the band’s new drummer, debuted in the band and they announced their rebranding from 4NEMO to 5WIRL.
Although two of the members are German and British-born, the band is managed by a Japanese idol management company, that also manages the solo idol career of the band’s two Japanese-born members and the company’s Chinese branch manages the solo idol career of the band’s Chinese-born member.
The genre of music that they produce is mostly hard rock, but they have also included a lot of pop music, influenced by their J-Pop and C-Pop members.
Members
Venti Frei- Venti is the band’s songwriter, as well as their bass guitarist. He is German-born and therefore most of their songs have German lyrics, or are completely in German. However, a lot of their songs are also in English.
- Kazuha is the band’s main keyboardist, but also their electric guitarist for when Xiao is the main singer. He is also their backup vocalist.
- Xiao is the band’s main electric guitarist. However, he is also the second vocalist. For some of the band’s songs, Xiao takes over as the lead singer. During these songs, the band’s main lead singer instead takes over as the band’s keyboardist and Kazuha takes over as electric guitarist.
- Aether is the band’s lead vocalist, and sings the majority of their songs. However, he also takes over as the keyboardist for the songs Xiao sings.
- Heizou is the band’s drummer, and their newest member - making his debut in the group during the first concert of their comeback tour.
