Jean Gunnhildr is a German-born alumnus of Teyvat Academy. Not much else is known about Jean other than that she was on the Student Council for the Mondstadt Dorm and Class during Venti Frei's presidency, as well as being the former lead singer of Venti's band - known at the time as 4NEMO (read as ANEMO). She graduated before her fellow bandmates - one year before Xiao and Venti, and two years before Kazuha. She chose to leave the band after her graduation and was replaced by Aether Collins.
During her education at Teyvat, she was in a relationship with Diluc Ragnvindr, who was in the year below her, until the summer of 2026 when they broke up. The break up was amiable, however, and they remained good friends and were happy for each other when the other found happiness with someone else once school started back up again (Lin Zhongli from the Liyue Class for Diluc, and Lisa Lilarosen from the Mondstadt class for Jean). While she identifies as bisexual, it is implied that she leans heavily towards women - as the sexual aspect of her relationship with Diluc was described as 'vanilla' by Diluc himself, but the sexual aspect of her relationship with Lisa is far from being the same.
It is unknown what happened to her after she graduated from Teyvat Academy in 2027.
