Lady Kayami Kaedehara
Kaedehara Kayami was a Japanese-born alumnus of Teyvat Academy. She was a past head of the middle-class Kaedehara family, the allies of the powerful and wealthy Kamisato family. She was the only child of Kaedehara Kagemitsu, and she married Niwa Yoshinori - who was adopted into the Kaedehara family upon their marriage in order for the Kaedehara name to continue on and not die out. She was the mother of Kaedehara Hisamichi, the grandmother of Kaedehara Kazuki, and the great-grandmother of Kaedehara Kanae and the famous J-Pop idol and member of the band 5WIRL (read as SWIRL), Kaedehara Kazuha.

Early Life
Kayami was born the daughter and only child of Kaedehara Kagemitsu. As such, it was decided that her future husband would be adopted into the Kaedehara family and would take the Kaedehara name, rather than Kayami taking his. From a young age, she was engaged to the second son of the Niwa family, Niwa Yoshinori. As a younger son of the Niwa family head, Yoshinori was not in a place to inherit anything, making him the perfect person to marry into the Kaedehara family - and the Niwa family were close allies with the Kaedehara family, so the decision was made easily. While at Teyvat Academy, Kayami was in the Inazuma dorm. Like the rest of her family, she was on one of the Inazuma varsity teams, known as the Tri-Commission - specifically a part of the sub-unit, the Yashiro Commission, alongside Kamisato Nariaki. Kayami was quite popular with the student populace and she had a lot of friends. Despite this, she spent the majority of her time with her fiancé, Niwa Yoshinori, and her friends, Kamisato Aisa, Yukimura Naoya, Kamisato Nariaki, and Nariaki's fiancée, Sakurai Kisa - as she knew Yoshinori was an introverted person, himself, and would be unlikely to make any other friends.Marriage
Kayami graduated from the Teyvat Academy alongside Yoshinori, Nariaki, Kisa, Aisam and Naoya in 1967. Not long after her graduation, she married Yoshinori. As was decided upon when the marriage arrangement was formed, Yoshinori was adopted into the Kaedehara family following the wedding and his name was changed from Niwa to Kaedehara. Kayami and Yoshinori were made joint heads of the Kaedehara family. When Kayami was twenty, she gave birth to their first son, Hisamichi, in July, 1969.Death
