Uzholch

Uzholch (Late Horil: AWLΞ, 'ušolč; Dvekmenu: Ужолчъ) was a Horil political and religious leader who lived in the early 9th century. He is venerated as a saint among Horils for leading his people out of the Dischitar and founding an independent Horil kingdom in the modern region of Derash, after more than a century of living under Hitan rule following the fall of Kjmorkog. He was venerated as a deity following his death, supposedly mantling divinity, and remains one of the most important figures in Horil culture. He is officially venerated as a saint in most sects of Furanism, having been venerated following the conversion of many horils. Uzholch is one of three people born before Hair of Tunis to be venerated as a Furanist saint.
